Exmoor’s Golden Horse Shoe Ride is a popular annual event. Book early to avoid disappointment as all the accomodation and stables in and around Exford get booked up very quickly. This year’s event is being held in May over the weekend of the 15th, 16th & 17th May.
This year there is a new route based on the popular 2008 route, but with a few more miles of moorland to explore.
In the evening on the Saturday after a long ride the Golden Horse Shoe team will be putting on a Bingo event after its huge success last year. They are also discussing the opportunity of getting the local fish and chip van in the village of Exford who comes highly recommended by the locals.
